Quilting at Any Age

I posted a picture of my friend's grandson quilting at age seven, so I thought I'd share some quilts made by another friend's parents. I'm not sure if they were quilting before they retired or not, but since then they've purchased a long arm quilting machine and have been making some beautiful quilts!
Both husband and wife work on them, and as for the quilting on the machine, one designs the motifs and the other quilts them out. Great teamwork!

Look at the quilting in this one! A city scape, the "bat car", the bat symbol....pretty intricate and detailed and a lot of fun.

This beautiful quilt was made for their grandson and bride for their wedding. It's gorgeous!
So, keep on quilting, or if you haven't started yet, give it a try! You may be amazed at what you can do!
