Caramel Apple Nachos

I hosted the Little Bits Miniature Quilt group meeting at my house today and I made Caramel Apple Nachos!  Yes they were as delicious as they look :)  A little messy to eat, but yummy!

We had a great meeting and got a lot done.  We are all working on little "mini me's", little fusible appliqué look-alikes of ourselves to make a Circle of Friends quilt.  There are nine of us, so we need to make nine of ourselves and exchange with each other.  I am amazed at the creativity of the group in coming up with look-alikes (these are kind of like paper dolls only with fabric.)

Some have added scarves, jewelry (keep in mind these are only about six inches tall, so the jewelry is tiny!), one gal who works for the newspaper used newsprint fabric. Each one so far is so unique and recognizable as that person!  I say so far because I don't have mine done yet and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to make mine unique!  I'm a pretty "plain Jane" sort of person.  I wear jeans and comfy shirts and shoes, no jewelry, hardly ever wear scarves.... Hmm..... I will definitely have to give this some thought.....

I received this Select Appli-Stick as a free gift for signing up for another season of The Quilt Show!  Has anyone ever tried it?  Does it work like Heat 'n Bond or Steam a Seam?  Just curious!

Well, I think I'll go eat some more Nachos....
