Gifts

I have been working on Christmas gifts, making some, wrapping some, buying some.... I cannot show you the ones I'm making yet, but I will!  I'm having fun with them.  Gifting can be stressful this time of year too as we try to find (or make) the perfect thing for the loved ones in our lives.

Singer Alex Boye said, “I feel that the story of the drummer boy teaches us a valuable lesson about gifts. The young boy didn’t have anything to offer Jesus, so he played his drum. This signifies to me that the most important gifts we can give each other are not necessarily the presents or the cost of it but the giving of our time and talents without expecting anything in return. This, to me, highlights the gift of love above all else.”

I also really like this quote from Mother Teresa "It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving."
I took this photo while driving down G Road the other day.  An unexpected gift of seeing some wildlife right in my own neighborhood!  I hope you have a wonderful day :)
