Something Old is New Again

My friend Alison told me that Thimbles and Threads, a quilt store in Draper, Utah had moved across the street to a new, nicer, bigger location.  I, of course, had to go check it out!

It was as nice as Alison described and my daughter and I enjoyed looking around.  They have a ton of fabric, more than you would think at first glance.  They have a real nice variety too.

Apparently it's also a lodge that you can book for retreats!  Alison spent three days there at a retreat with Lori Holt.

You can find out more about The Quilter's Lodge and retreats at:

www.QuiltersLodge.com

It looks like there are packages for 1-6 people or 1-10 people and if your group is larger you can book multiple packages.  Alison said the accommodations were great and she had a wonderful time.

If you're just shopping, and your hubby has to wait for you, there is a lovely hubby lounging area right by the fireplace :)

And speaking of quilt stores in Utah - if you're up that way June 1-4 you really ought to participate in their shop hop.  It is a blast!  For more information go to:
