Sue Spargo Project

I think I finally got my Sue Spargo project finished to my taste.  One could go on and on and keep embellishing, but since this was a learning project for me I am calling it done and am satisfied with the results!

Now I need to figure out how to quilt it!  I actually have never quilted a wool piece before!

I tried several new stitches and did some beading.

And ruching.

And with the Kaffe fabrics I made a fun colorful border that I think really sets off the vase of embellished flowers!  Now we'll see what the quilting adds to it :)
