Pat Holly



I was super impressed with Pat Holly's quilt, Turkish Treasures, which won first place in the Innovative Appliqué category.  The detail in this quilt is amazing and the pictures just really do not do it justice.




If you look closely you will see that this edging is crocheted with a tiny seed bead at each peak.  There are also some tiny rick rack and pom poms attached on the edge too. Like I said the detail is jaw dropping.

Then, to top it off, Pat made a miniature, Tiny Turkish Treasures, for the IQA Auction/Fundraiser.  I totally would have bid on this quilt, had the bidding process been easier.
