Mug Mats and More

I February I am teaching a Back Basting Hand Appliqué class at Black Sheep Handworx Studio.  I really, really like this method of hand appliqué and hope to be able to inspire others to try it as well.  We will be making this simple flower with leaves.  I turned mine into a mug mat, but it can be added to a bag, made into a quilt block or just about anything.  If you want to check out all of the classes Laura is offering at her studio the first quarter of 2019, go here:

Speaking of mug mats - June made all of these pretty mug mats using English Paper Piecing.  I love them!  I may just have to make a few...

And, speaking of English Paper Piecing, check out the new Millie Stars quilt-along for 2019 at Katja's Quilt Shoppe here:

This year she has instructions for EPP and regular piecing.  The quilt is gorgeous too - more modern looking.

One more Annie Unrein bag to show off - made by Eddy.  Most who took the class complained about the binding, but they all look good and it seems like most, if not all, have finished!  That's saying something!

Have you ever seen a smile cuter than this??  💖
