In September I did a virtual workshop with Quiltfolk called Adventures in Wales. I really like these workshops! I've done three now - one with Kaffe Fassett, the Wales workshop and most recently Provence, France. Next up in June, is Hawaii.
I don't always do the project but this Welsh inspired quilt interested me, so I purchased the Cherrywood Fabrics and made the project! To be truly Welsh inspired I should have hand quilted it, but... I wanted to finish it, so I machine quilted it. It was fun to free motion quilt on the solid fabrics. I also did some ruler work. I just kept trying different designs in different areas and really enjoyed the process. It's not perfect but I enjoyed it!
