Finally a chance to get into the sewing room! I laid out all of the Boho Heart quilt blocks and starting cutting the background strips. The background strips were supposed to be cut at 1.5 inches to finish at one inch! That is a LOT of seams, not to mention a lot of cutting and piecing. My friend asked if it could be done with 2.5 inch strips so I decided to figure that out! With some modifications, for example while most of the strips are 2.5 inches, a few had to be cut at 3.5 inches. You can spot them in the picture below but it just isn't that noticeable to me, so 2.5 / 3.5 inch cuts it is! Thanks to Michelle B. for the suggestion!
