At Christmas time Mike took our granddaughter with him to deliver some goodies to the neighbors. A couple of days ago our next door neighbor came over with two sweaters she had knitted to give to our granddaughter! I didn't even know she was a knitter, but these little sweaters are so cute! The detail on them is really something. I'm trying to knit a scarf right now, just knit and purl.... One of the funnest classes I've taken though was a knitted BOM of the month class with my friend Ann. I should make one of those afghans again. I really learned a lot. A sweater seems a bit out of my league...

I love the popcorn along the sleeves. I once made a sweater with lots of popcorn and who remembers what else for a long ago boyfriend! Dumbest idea ever but the sweater was gorgeous!
