Sunset Slope Quilt Guild put on a marvelous quilt show here locally in April.

Pictured here and the next few days are some that stood out to me!  Such talent in our community!

 

Happy Mother's Day!!

I had a lovely Mother's Day - I hope you did too!

I woke up to FaceTime with this cutie, my daughter and her other two kiddos, and my favorite hot chocolate made by hubby 😋

Ended with a lovely lunch fixed by my boys and a nice afternoon visit with them and a chat with my oldest daughter!  So thankful for Mike and our kids and grandkids.  I feel so blessed! ❤️❤️

 

Tula Pink's Butterfly Quilt

This quilt was made by my friend Sheila Symanski and was shown at our local quilt show a month ago. It's so beautiful - I love everything about it, including the quilting by Cheryl Bradford!

I just happen to have purchased this kit a couple of years ago and inspired by this quilt, I finally pulled it out and started making the blocks!  I've been making good progress!  Just three more sets of blocks to go and I can begin putting it together! 👏😊❤️

I Sold a Quilt!

We had a local quilt show a few weeks ago (I'll share some pictures soon!) and I put this quilt in the show and sold it!  I hesitated because it represents hours of my time, but I do happen to have a lot of quilts and I still want to make more so ....  Anyway, my neighbor bought it!  So it didn't move very far away and she seems thrilled to own it. 😊❤️
