I have decided that 2023 will be the year of finishing up kits and blocks of the months that I've purchased the last few years. My first kit finish is this little needle keep! I picked up the kit and pattern at the Cornwagon Quilt Shop in Springville, UT. The pattern is by Amy McClellan and is pictured below. Her website is:

I had to use long lengths of thread to do the coral knot stitch around the edge of this little needle book and my thread kept tangling. Finally I pulled out my Sew Fine thread gloss (pictured below) that someone gifted to me and it can purchased on Sue Spargo's website:
It worked SO well! I don't know why I haven't pulled this out and used it before, but I definitely will now! A plus is that it smells really good too. I've been using it on my hand appliqué now too.
