I finally got caught up on the TQS block of the month - just in time to get the patterns for June and start again! These were pretty challenging - some tiny pieces! The little sails on the boats (half square triangles) finish at half inch. This is the Mayflower block. There are a lot of pieces in the little 2 1/2 inch Log Cabin block too. I paper pieced those so that helped a lot. I also paper pieced all of the square in a square segments in the Kansas Star block which finished at one inch each. What would we do with paper piecing?
And, just so you know, we now have a porta potty....
