Artistic

The four year old got hold of my phone last night and took some pictures.  The one above is actually quite artistic!  Plus, she's just about mastered the selfie!

A Fun Afternoon at the Palette

My daughter signed up whoever wanted to for a class at the Palette this afternoon.  The four of us who went had a great time!  I was a bit skeptical because painting is not typically my thing, but I loved it!

Art at the Mall

Art on the wall at the Mall!  I'm not sure when this was painted, probably a long time ago and I just noticed!  But I like it 😊

Ye Old Sewing Box

We visited Muckross House in Killarney National Park which was built in 1843.  There were a lot of beautiful antique pieces on display including these two pieces, the old scissors and the sewing box below and the small round table with small portraits of women.  I found them all fascinating!!

Friday's Coming!!

I wish I knew who to give the photo credit to for the beautiful picture of Palisade above.  What a beautiful time of year in the Grand Valley!!

Still sharing some quilts from Houston!

I'm hoping to finish one this weekend and start a new one.  I still have my wool projects I'm working on too 😊

Temperature Tapestry

I had such a busy week last week.  I meant to blog everyday and it just didn't happen!  I wanted to share this Tempestry Project (temperature tapestry) that we saw at the visitor's center at Great Basin National Park. I thought it was cool that one represents 1916 and the other 2016.

Little Bits

My Little Bits group met last week and as always, we had a great time.  Here are a couple of show and tell!  Multi-talented Sherida showing her most recent water color.  Look how those trees just sparkle in the background.  I really love this!  (Sorry for the reflexion - it was hard to get a good picture, but it's amazing.)

The next two pictures are Eleanors quilt that she made using the "potato chip" block and scrap fabrics.  It always amazes me what fabrics you can put together in a scrap quilt!

Below is a flash back photo of our Little Bits group 14 years ago!!

So true....
