Busy Beas and Lady Bugz

At the Colorado West Quilt Guild meeting Wednesday night we heard presentations by two of the areas quilt shops.

Lady Bugz Quilt Shop in Montrose set up this lovely table display of the many, many bag patterns they have and told us of the classes they offer.  They just moved their store to Main Street in Montrose and have a bigger classroom area.  They showed us pictures of their new store and it looks super cute.
Tracy and Bea from Grand Junction's new quilt store gave a presentation about their new store as well.  The grand opening is tomorrow!  They talked about classes that will be available and what products they will be offering.  They also demonstrated a scan and cut machine where you can scan your appliqué pattern into the machine then back your fabric with fusible web and insert it into the machine and it will CUT OUT your fusible appliqué pieces for you!  What?? It really works though, Tracy showed us.  You can get a demo yourself at their store.  Some of these new machines boggle my mind....

See ya at the quilt stores!!
