Here are all 169 Dear Jane blocks that will finish at 4 1/2 inches. Each one is stored in its own plastic bag with the name, place in the quilt and number of pieces stuck to the outside. SOON, I will sew them into the quilt!
I'm almost finished with triangles and and just starting corner triangles. This one will go on the left side, 2nd from the top and has 24 pieces in it. It was all paper pieced.
Left side, 3rd from top, paper pieced and hand appliquéd with 16 pieces.
It feels good to be getting close to the finish line. While hand stitching some of the blocks this morning I watched Angela Walters Craftsy Class. It is full of good ideas for quilting the borders of quilts!
