Just a few more pictures of London!
Our hotel - The Grosvenor Marriott
A couple more pictures inside The Tower of London
Westminster Abbey above.
So many beautiful old buildings. I took a LOT of pictures!
Part of the Parliament Building below.
More Westminster Abbey - above and below, and the cool door!
The next few photos were taken inside the Victoria and Albert Museum. We could have spent days in there. We walked around and saw as much as we could. I was looking for the textile exhibit that I had heard about, but it had just been moved to a new purpose- built centre for the study, conservation and storage of textiles and fashion at Blythe House in Kensington Olympia.
The spiral staircase below is an oak staircase from Morlaix.
The facade is from Sir Paul Pindar's house.
Above is Buckingham Palace!
Left is Westminster Abbey.
Above is Westminster Abbey and to the right is the Parliament Building. Mike took several of these pictures.
Mike took these awesome photos.
A pretty cool carpet design from the hotel we stayed at in Toronto on the way home. Quilt design?
Here I am standing outside London's Heathrow Airport - ready to go home! It was a fabulous trip with my wonderful husband!
Now back to quilting :)
