Pajamas for the Women's Shelter
One night this week I went over to our church to help sew pajama bottoms for the local women's shelter. Normally I do not sew clothing - I am just better at quilt making - but luckily this pattern was quite EASY! Phew!
A month ago several ladies had spent a lot of time cutting them out too, so that made it even faster and easier. It is always fun to spend time sewing and laughing with friends, and because it's for a good cause is even better.
Above are Jennifer and Cheryl sewing away.
Kate and Sally working on more pjs.
Lori was the master "presser". She got all of the hems and waistbands ready for the pairs I was working on and for others as well.
Chris was sewing and pressing!
Fun times :)
