I visited our friend Lori in Colorado Springs and just had to show you the view from her sewing room window. This picture was taken as if sitting at her sewing machine. Gorgeous, huh? She said once she was sewing and looked up and a large buck was standing right outside her window! It was great to visit and catch up and just enjoy spending time together. We miss her in our neck of the woods, but I can sure see why she loves it here! She said to tell everyone hello.
This is her Sylvia's Bridal Sampler quilt. We took this class together several years ago. I love the batiks with the brown background - it's stunning.
