Fiesta Talavera

I found out that Phyllis' Amazing Quilt is actually called Fiesta Talavera!  It IS made by Amazing Phyllis however.  She emailed me and said she saw in a catalog that one can make the whole quilt on a machine embroidery machine now.  While that might be a great option for some, I still find a lot of satisfaction in doing the process myself and relying on the machine a little less.  I know this quilt took Phyllis many, many hours to make and it must be very satisfying to have a beautiful end product such as this.









I finished my daughters' monthly minis for October.  I had fun with this one - appliqueing all of the Jack-0-Lanterns, and using some of my Halloween fabrics.  Fall is definitely in the air!
