We just got back from a trip back east where we visited friends and did a little leaf peeping! We had a great time and I will post more about that later :) In preparation for our trip, I condensed my supplies to make the hand pieced Patchwork of the Crosses blocks into as small a bag as possible so I could work on it in the car, the airport, the plane, and anywhere else I felt the desire to stitch. I put it in the backpack I carried on the plane and it fit nicely. I had a round cutter for thread, so no scissors. I was all set! Did I pull it out and stitch even once on my trip? No - not even once ....
