Wednesday night was the Christmas party and guild meeting for CWQG. We had a lovely potluck dinner, a meeting (including show and tell) and then a showing of "Bucket List" quilts. More on that later!
Here are some pictures from show and tell. I need to start writing down names of the makers but it is hard to write that information down and take pictures at the same time, so I am sorry if that information is missing.
These next three quilts were all made at the retreat in October from a class taught by Ellen. It is always fun to see the same pattern made up in different fabrics. The ladies did not know ahead of time what the pattern would look like so it was kind of a mystery quilt. They were just told what fabric to bring. They all turned out unique and fantastic!
Judy made this cute table runner from blocks won at the block of the month table one month. Pretty colors and a very unique and pretty block!
This member had quite a few quilts to show - she's been busy! The yellow and brown one above are hers as well as these two.
Betty, our program chair, made this lovely star quilt. A beautiful use of the fabrics - take a look at the close up below.

Just over a week until Christmas! We went to a lovely party last night called "A Night in Bethlehem" - it helped me slow down and remember the real reason that we celebrate this holiday :)
And just a week from today is my husband's and my 32nd wedding anniversary! 32 wonderful years with a terrific guy :)
