Millefiori Block #5

I finished the 5th block of my Millefiori quilt!  It's amazing how fast the blocks go together, once I get the fabric picked out - that takes the longest for me - playing around with different fabrics and trying to decide what will look good and have an interesting kaleidoscope effect.

My friend Lori told me about this Quilters Select Cotton-Poly 80 weight thread that is fabulous for English Paper Piecing! I ordered a bobbin set from The Quilt Show website (store) and it has a multitude of colors.  I can't tell you how much I love this thread for EPP.  I bet it would be a great piecing thread too. Thanks for the tip Lori! :)
