More Quilts from the Utah Show!
I had a busy weekend! First of all I finished my Woodland Whimsy - hurray! I enjoyed working on it so much though, it was a tiny bit of a let down when I finished it. Someone said, it's like finishing a great book that you really didn't want to end.
I also had to pull out a lot of my quilts for a trunk show that I did today for the Monument Quilt Group here in Grand Junction. That was a little bit of a walk down memory lane :). Anyway, the trunk show went well, I think! Everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Following are some more pictures of the quilts hanging in the Utah Quilt show a couple of weeks ago, and then a quilt made for a friend in our Little Bits Group.
This is the quilt our Little Bits group made for one of our members who had a fall recently. I'm happy to report that she's doing much better! We will give her the quilt at our meeting tomorrow.
Each member made some four patch blocks, Kathy put them all together with some sashing and a fun border and I quilted it. It has nice soft flannel on the back so she can snuggle up with it.
I hope you're having a great day!
