School House Event
Wednesday night, at the Colorado West Quilt Guild meeting, we had our annual School House event. We had three 15-20 minute demonstrations and the members rotated around to each one. I think everyone had a great time - I know I did!
I did one of the demos - on English Paper Piecing.
Chris, our president, did a demonstration on a particular binding tool that she loves.
Gini's demo was on embroidery stitching with coloring and shading using crayons!
She had several samples of pieces she had made and some that Laura Pedge had made. SO cute!
This is a great way to learn from our own guild members, and it's nice to have a program once in awhile that doesn't cost anything. So, if you're looking for a guild program idea - have an annual School House event!
