Three Generations

Three generations of the Davis family were represented at the quilt show in Grand Junction this weekend!  The quilt above was made by Phyllis, who is 87 years young and still quilting strong!

The next three quilts were made by her daughter Eddy - also a fabulous quilter!

In the Dog House, made by Eddy, using blocks she received after being president of the CO West Quilt Guild.  (I found the block I made!)  It is tradition to give the out-going president a set of blocks made by the members.  Eddy put hers together in the cute quilt pictured above.

The starry quilt below - also made by Eddy!

And lastly, this beautiful quilt (pictured below) was made by Eddy's grandson, Lane, when he was 13 years old!  I'm SO impressed!  Now, if only Lane's Mom would make a quilt, then next quilt show they will have four generations represented 😊
All of that talent in one family!

My husband shared this article with me, which you might find interesting:

Happy Quilting!!
