EGA and The FOX Block!

Saturday was the Embroidery Guild's annual Christmas party and UFO contest.  The UFO contest works like this:  At the beginning of the year you have your picture taken with an unfinished project that you plan on finishing during the year.  If you bring your finished project to the holiday party at the end of the year, you get your name put in the drawing and the winner gets free membership to the guild for the next year!  Here are all of the beautiful finished projects!

Saturday was also the last Woodland Whimsy class at Black Sheep.  Everyone is so busy, no one came! I did get to see Michelle's finished Fox block though, when she stopped by the store for a minute. All she has to do is put the ladybug on.  For the butterflies body, she used Petite Very Velvet and it looks (and feels) so real!  She used some Brazilian Embroidery thread too, which just gives the flowers a little sparkle.  I love it!
