Well, it's official, the whole state of Colorado is in lockdown mode as of 6 AM this morning. It doesn't feel too different than what we've already been doing, but it probably is changing things a lot for businesses. I feel so bad for our local businesses and want to support them as best we can in whatever way we can.
For an uplift today, you should go check out Salley Mavor's blog post called
"This little piggy stayed home"
I bought her book "Pocket Full of Posies" several months ago and it's the cutest book ever,
especially if you're into stitching! Here is a quote from her post, but do go read it because she has many, many more pictures from the book with the little animals and characters all safely tucked up inside their houses 😊 Stay safe and healthy!! ❤️
"We’re all homebodies now, like this little piggy, as we try to keep the corona-virus from spreading even further than it already has. In searching for comforting images to share during these unsettling times, I noticed that there are an awful lot of scenes with characters in domestic settings in my picture book, Pocketful of Posies: A Treasury of Nursery Rhymes. In many cases, the people and animals are safe inside, peering out of windows, which seems to reflect our collective experience right now. So, as you shelter in place, please take a moment to escape into this warm and fuzzy world, where everything is all stitched up, safe and sound."
