Couching With Bullions

Our recent Stitch Book page has Couching with Bullions.  I did it today, working on
my Folk Tails quilt.  This will be the "road" that runs through the quilt.
Two pieces of size 3 Painters Pearl Cotton were laid side by side and couched with a
10 wrap bullion using size 8 Eleganza Perle Cotton.  I really like the way it looks!

This week's photography class challenge was "Aspects of Covid".  I submitted the photo above, of the "Thank You" sign that hangs on the side of our local hospital.  It brought back a lot of mask making memories to me, when I first saw it!  I like the colors and that it really stands out and is noticeable as you drive by. So that is the one I submitted....

But I LOVE this one, taken by my son-in-law, of my daughter and granddaughter picking out her first violin!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
If only I had taken the photo.... 😊
