Photography Class: Selfies

A few days ago I mentioned a "surprise" that I was going to share on my blog.  I wanted to wait until I got it hung up, but that is taking longer than I thought it would so I'm just going to share now, and I'll share a picture of it hanging soon.  As you may know, I've been taking an online cell phone photography class with Ricky Tims the last few weeks and a dear friend of ours, who is a photographer himself, had my photo (above) printed on metal!  It' so cool!  It's all ready to hang too (we just need to get it up!) I really love the way it looks printed on metal, like you could just reach out and grab that pile of thread 😊

Last week's theme for the class was "Selfies".  I'm actually pretty terrible at taking selfies, but I square cropped it and made it black and white, for fun.  This was taken while on a bike ride with my daughter.

This class has been a ton of fun.  I have one more lesson to watch today and one more photo to post. 

I will miss the challenges - I'll have to come up with some of my own. 😊
