I always love receiving Quilty gifts at the holidays. I thought I'd share what I received this year. But first, you must head on over to The Quilt Show's Daily Blog and listen to

She just cracks me up. If you've ever had a chance to take a class from her, you know how delightful she is. Even though I am not a fuser (I prefer hand appliqué), I did graduate from the Chicago School of Fusing!
So, the Bernina tweezers above are supposed to be "the" tweezers! I'm exited to try them out!
My son and his wife got me this Bias Tape Maker Kit, with all the tools to make bias tape in four different sizes!
OK... so I bought myself a few goodies too, from Sue Spargo's Twelve Days...
A needle roll kit and some velvet and a rubber stamp for embossing the velvet!
My friend Michelle gave me a LOT of fun Quilty gifts, like the numbered pins above, which will come in really handy when sewing blocks and rows together to finish up a quilt top.
I bought myself the wool punch roll up kit to store all of my wool punches in - get them out of those boxes that are falling apart...
Michelle gave me BEADS galore! I love these beads and can hardly wait to use them on upcoming projects! She also gave me the coloring book below, which will help tremendously in drawing vases for the Indigo Vases class we're taking together next year.
And, the fun little container, thread winders and thread conditioner! I had such a good time in my sewing room this afternoon, playing with my new sewing toys and getting ready to work on my next project.
My plan is to get several quilts, both large and small, ready for quilting! 😊
