I thought this exhibit at the Houston Quilt Festival was interesting. For going on two years now, with all the mask wearing, this is about the only part of other peoples faces we get to see! I've often wondered, as I smile at someone behind my mask, especially children, do they know I'm smiling? Can they tell by my eyes that I'm smiling at them? At least making eye contact is a good thing, but I know with my grandson, if I talk to him and smile at him with a mask on, he doesn't really respond (he's five months old) but as soon as I take the mask off, his little face lights up! Here's to getting through this pandemic and getting back to "normal" ASAP! Have a great day and remember to smile behind that mask! 😊
