Last week I had the opportunity to go to Amy McClellan's Stitch Sampler Book class at the Cornwagon Quilt Co. in Springville, Utah. https://www.cornwagonquilts.com
These are my first two pages which I finished this week! This class will be once a month for 12 months and by the end of 2022 I will have a really cute little (about 4x6 or 5x7) sampler book of fun and useful embroidery stitches.
The good news is, if YOU are interested, you don't have to attend this class in person! I signed up through the store so I wasn't aware of the online class until I went to class last week. She has an online class and will ship a kit to you each month and you will then have access to all of her Stitch Sampler Book online tutorials. (I have access to those too, as part of my class). Amy McClellan designed Woodland Whimsy, a block of the month I did a few years ago and it is one of my all time favorite quilts that I've ever made. She has some fabulous designs and projects on her website. You'll have fun looking, if nothing else!
How many of you are madly trying to finish up projects in time for Christmas? If so, you might relate to the photo below! For me this year, it's not sewing, but baking that is bringing out my "bah humbug". Why is it that baked goods turn out fine when I'm not taking them anywhere or gifting them to anyone, but when I'm planning to give them away, they turn out terrible? Back to sewing for me, that's all I have to say... 😂🎄
Here are the GREATS! Great Grandpa (my Dad ❤️) with two of his three GREAT grandchildren!
All having a GREAT time!!
Here is hoping you have a GREAT day!!🥰
