Kindred Stitches

I was struggling to feel motivated to get back in my sewing room and work on something after the holidays.  I have two large quilts that need quilted, but I wasn't motivated to get started on either one of those!  So I pulled out this little kit that I bought years ago.  It's a small 5x7 inch stitch book by Amy McClellan of Under the Garden Moon Designs called Kindred Stitches.  It only took a few days to make and I really enjoyed it!  The hardest part was figuring out how to put in this little zipper pocket.  Trust me, it was harder than it looks! 😂. Now I have a finished, useful project and I'm happy with the results! Plus I'm feeling more motivated to quilt those quilts! 😊. I hope your weekend has been productive too. ❤️
