Monday at my class Amy McClellan showed us a bag pattern she is working on. It's SO pretty! The is crochet on the bottom with beautiful embroidery on wool. I'm not sure if this pattern is available yet or not but you can find her patterns at:

She also showed us how to make these thread catchers! I'm going to have to make myself one. It would get a LOT of use at my house and when I go to stitch groups etc. So handy!
Amy does a lot of retreats that sound really fun!
I had a little sewing helper today! I started working on my first two Alison Glass/Guicy Guice miniseries SAL blocks!
