I just finished a year long class at the Corn Wagon Quilt Shop in Springville, Utah, with Amy McClellan, making this Stitch Sampler Book. The class met once a month and while I didn't make it to every class, because it's a bit of a drive, she also teaches this class online, so I was able to watch her videos and keep up. It was so much fun and I'm super happy with the finished project. Here are a few picture samples of the pages, (you've probably seen some that I've posted of just the finished page - but now they're all put together!)
Part of the appeal of the book for me is the printed pages we received each month, along with the pretty colored threads to stitch with. Each stitch is printed on the pages, along with a stitching guide (which is now covered by thread), so it made the stitching just that much easier. It will be a handy guide when I'm working on other projects - I can look up the stitch and see it all stitched out, not just pictures in a book.
