Pieced and Appliquéd

I did have a nice sewing weekend, even though I did cook a little ... 😊

One of the things I got done this weekend was the pieced block for month 5 of "Caution Curves Ahead" BOM by Jen Kingwell.  This "pieced block" has a little bit of appliqué on it as well.  And yes,  I did machine piece it.  My machine piecing just looks better than my hand piecing!
