"What's On Your Shelf" was the challenge for the Colorado West Quilt Guild this year. The reveal was last night, and the quilts (and the stories behind the quilts) were amazing! Take a look! 😊
The quilt above was a tribute to the maker's grandmother, who taught her to quilt.
The details in this quilt were jaw dropping! It's the maker's sewing room and there are even tiny quilting rulers hanging under the shelf!
A desert shelf! A different twist!
Family memories and personal stories made these quilts so meaningful.
I was drawn to this one because I love miniatures. The tiny little bolts of fabric! The little sewing lamp even really turned on! So cute.
Looking out Grandma's kitchen window where all of her African Violets were. Beautiful dimensional flowers.
The whole family participated in making the one above and look at the crocheted leaves on the quilt below!
All were so creative! I bought the fat quarter to enter the challenge, even had an idea, but .... didn't get it done. I sure hope to next year!
