Indigo Vases

About 2 1/2 years ago my friend and I took a terrific class with Sue Spargo at the Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson Arizona called Indigo Vases.  We got a basic pattern for the background and the vases which we had stitched and ready to go, then Sue taught us all kinds of wonderful ways to stitch stems, make flowers, decorate the vases and embellish, embellish, embellish.  It was hard for me at first because there was no pattern!  But the more I just dove in and stitched the more fun it became.  And this month I finally finished it!  Or, I'm calling it done at least.  The quilting was hard, with all the embellishments but I'm pretty happy with the result and excited to hang it up 😊
