Truffle Duffle

A friend of mine asked me to quilt her Truffle Duffle quilt (a Sue Spargo pattern), so that's what I did today.  My goal was for the quilting not to show, because there is so much beautiful hand embroidered stitching on there I didn't want the quilting to be distracting. I think I accomplished that goal! 😅. I also learned that it's much easier to quilt a wool quilt if it has cotton batting vs. if it has wool batting.  I think the wool batting in a wool quilt is harder (for me) to quilt, and the quilting definitely shows up more.  I love her quilt, her embroidery stitching is AMAZING!! 👏😊❤️
