Look! Sue Hicks and Telene Jeffrey, from England, made the same Millefiori quilt I'm working on here in Colorado! One more amazing thing about the internet - keeping all of us quilters in touch with one another :)
I really liked the sentiments expressed on this quilt called Journey of a Quilter and made by Nicola Foreman and Janette Chilver. There are a couple of close up photos below.

I really love everything about this quilt - especially the quilting.
It earned a Judge's Choice Award
Tabbitha by Valerie Clabburn and Georgina Clabburn
Do you recognize the Lucy Boston's Patchwork of the Crosses block?? Fun fabric choices!
If you're a Downton Abbey fan you know where I am in this picture! I just need to be walking towards the castle with the dog :)
I'm a fan of Masterpiece Classics and BBC - Downton Abbey, Poldark, Call the Midwives, Grantchester, Selfridges .... Mike patiently drove me around part of the UK to see some of the sites I've become familiar with via books and the telly :)
It was really fun to see Highclere Castle up close. We got to go inside and yes, it looks just like it does in Downton Abbey, we even got to see the bedrooms they used for the show. So fun! I could not take any photos inside but here are a few I took outside and around the huge estate. It was lovely - sigh ..... :)
Highclere Castle is the home of the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon
