At The Quilt Show taping on Tuesday, the second guest, in the afternoon, was Jenny K Lyon. Jenny does beautiful machine quilting. One of the techniques she shared was using a square of fabric with a motif on it, placed in the middle of a larger quilt sandwich to begin a machine quilted piece. I wish I had a picture of one of the examples she showed because I know I'm not explaining it well and it was a very cool way to practice machine quilting. But .... you'll just have to watch the show when it airs early next year :)
