Tuesday I attended a Quilt Show taping in Denver with friends Michelle and Ann. We had a great time watching guests Heidi Proffetty and Jenny Lyons. I hadn't heard of either before, so it was really interesting to see what their specialties are and view their beautiful work.
In the morning, Ricky Tims demonstrated some couching of some fun netting and sheer fabrics - "taming the sheers".
Heidi Profetty's work is in mosaics and she uses a digital cutter to cut her shapes. I found that process very interesting. You can read more about her at:

My daughter Michelle bought me a new spatula! I'm glad to know the proper way to cut carbs 😂😂
