For my last embroidery class with the group that was working on the Summer Blooms Bag, we worked on bugs! Mainly Ladybugs and Bees, but I did show them some Dragonflies from my Woodland Whimsy quilt. These little Ladybugs and Bees are in Sue Spargo's Creative Texturing book, which seems to be out of print because everyone is having a hard time finding it! Perhaps Sue is hard at work on the Second Edition - fingers crossed! It's a great little book.
The bugs are SO fun to stitch and as you can see, everyone did a great job! The cutest little bugs that you ever did see!
