Tis the season for holiday parties! I attended my first one of the season today - for the Embroidery Guild. It was a beautiful brunch at the Doubletree Hotel. I was going to take a picture of the pretty tables, but I must've starting eating and forgot. Anyway, the tables were beautiful, the food delicious and the company fantastic! We also had wonderful entertainment by the Palisade Show Choir!
At the beginning of the year, they take a picture of any member who wants to participate with a UFO - something they want to and think they can finish in the upcoming year. At the Christmas party, all of the finished projects are displayed, and those who participated and finished something, put their names in a hat. The winner gets their membership free for the next year! Here are some photos of the amazing finished projects. You'll see Woodland Whimsy was mine this year - so glad I finished it :). Patsy was was the winner of the membership dues for 2019, which was fitting, as she was also honored for making and donating 300 quilts to Project Linus! Way to go Patsy!

I'm not sure who made this one below. There were many
others too and I wasn't able to get pictures of all of them.
Fun day though!!
