Colorado West Quilt Guild Party

Wednesday was the day of Holiday Parties.  At the CWQG party in the evening we had a potluck dinner, games, and Show and Tell.  We also had a special show and tell, where members could share a hand made decoration or gift and share a memory about it.  We brought donations, either food or money for the Community Food Bank.

Hearing the memories shared by members, such as this one by Gig who told us that her father made this quilt for her (and made one for each of his daughters), was really touching.  I enjoyed it very much.

Mary showed us a holiday table topper made by her one and only sister, Betty (who is also in our guild).

We had regular Show and Tell too.  I think the Giraffe pillowcase above is just too dang cute.

Kathy presented a power point of all of the upcoming programs and workshops for 2019 - a fun year ahead for the guild with inspiring speakers!

Holiday shopping done yet?  I'm heading out tomorrow for a few, hopefully quick, errands!
Have a great weekend!
