Dutch Fabric and Belgium Lace!!

Here is a quick peek of some of the shops that I just couldn't resist!  With 30 stitchers on the ship, you can bet we were passing along information on where to shop 😁
You know us quilters, always looking out for each other!

This couple has a wonderful lace shop in Antwerp, right across from the Cathedral.  I absolutely loved looking around in here and wish I had bought more than I did...

Lace shop in Bruges (above)
and
a Handwork shop (below), also in Bruges

Fabric and knitting shop in Ghent.  I bought some Dutch fabric here and the lovely shop owner let me use the restroom for free.  Quilters are the nicest people, and quilt shops have the nicest restrooms :)

Loved these little sheep in Zeeland!

Quilt shop in Amsterdam!  Some ladies on the ship told us about this one.  Our husbands were very patient.  I bought some fabric to make the Dutch antique baby quilt pictured below.

This was a fantastic little shop!!

Some goodies in our gift bag from Sue Spargo and Deb Roberts (the tour organizer).

The handmade Belgian lace that I purchased
and
My Sue Spargo tulip project and goodie bag.
(I still have a lot of work to do on my tulip project!)

The Dutch fabric I bought, and a little tapestry coin purse, lower left in the picture below.

And of course, thimbles for my collection!
I hope you've had a wonderful weekend!
