Felted Bear

Yesterday I took a class from Cecelia at Black Sheep and made a felted bear.  I really love needle felting (although it is a rather dangerous sport - Judy went home with three fingers bandaged!). I had such a good time making the little sheep and the bear, while a little more complicated was just as fun.  Judy made a rabbit.  Future plans are to make another sheep, another bear and a penguin or two.  There is enough roving in the kit to make a couple.  This class is SO fun, and really not that hard.  Give it try if you like these tiny critters like I do 😊

These pictures got a little out of order, but above is my finished little bear - he sits about 3 inches tall.

This is all you need, a little wool roving, a felting needle and a couple of tiny eyes.

Above is a dinosaur and bear, both made by Cecelia and below is a turtle made by Noni.

Cecelia is into making these awesome pumpkin faces now for Fall!

This little pig isn't felted but I taught a Pigs and Pears Pincushion class on Saturday and one of the gals, Linda, in the class finished her pig and brought it to show me today in the bag class.
It turned out SOOOO CUTE!!!!
Bunnies and Bears and Pigs - oh my!!
