I believe creating is good for the soul. I really loved Anna's blog today on The Quilt Show website, where she asks "Imagine a world where only kindness exists?":

I also love this quote from her blog post:
"I truly believe if the entire world took up stitching it would be a more peaceful place. Whether it be hand appliqué, quilting, cross stitch, knitting, needlepoint, crochet...there is a peacefulness that embraces the heart when you are stitching. Even Rosey Grier took up needlepoint because he saw the benefits to his soul. Maybe if schools taught stitching, and in "time outs" you got to stitch, the classroom would be more peaceful. The mind boggles with the possibilities!
There may be only one tiny flaw in her thinking - if I got to stitch in time out,
I would want to be put in time out more often!
The other day my granddaughter was telling her mom about how she took a quilting class when she was a baby 😂. Then she told her, "I'm in the mood of sewing!" A girl after my own heart 💖 -
I'm always in the mood of sewing!
