Stitch Day

A Dahlia in our yard 😊

On Saturday, I had a stitch workshop in our background.  At the beginning of the year I committed to teach two year long classes - Sue Spargo's Homegrown quilt block of the month and a Stitch Book or Stitch Dictionary as I like to call it.  After about two months of classes, everything shut down and I've been trying to keep up with the classes via email and YouTube videos.  With the nicer weather (and less smokey skies) I decided to hold a stitch "help session", for those interested, in my backyard this past weekend.  No one was able to come on Friday, but a few came Saturday and we had a lovely time!  It was so nice to see people!  Maybe we'll get to squeeze in one more before it gets too cold!

Susan shared her progress on her Homegrown quilt and WOW - way to go!  I'm so impressed!

Michelle shared her most recent Stitch Book page.  She's going the extra mile and adding even more stitches.  It will be a great resource for her when it's all done.

I hope everyone else is making progress too,  I know that actually getting to go to a class is more motivating for most people, but we're all making the best of this crazy year! 🤪

Have a GREAT day!!
